It's a fundraiser unlike any other - and proceeds benefit injured and orphaned wildlife.
Join Wild Kritters of Niagara County Inc. Sunday, April 13, for its eighth annual basket raffle. The event will take place from noon until 4 p.m. at the 3F Conservation Club, 904 Swann Road, Lewiston.
As part of this fun-filled afternoon for the family, owls, hawks, falcons and even an eagle owl will be on hand to greet guests. These animals will be out and about all afternoon, and there will be up-close interactions with them.
In addition, food and delicious desserts will be served.
The raffle will take place at 4 p.m. Winners need not be present.
Wild Kritters rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife. Organizers are hosting this fundraiser to help to cover the cost of medications, medical care, special food and supplies such as cages, incubators and blankets used in the care of its animals.
