The Lewiston Police Department has an abundance of bicycles accumulated that were found in the town over the past three years. Those who believe LPD may have their bicycle are invited to visit the Lewiston Police Department office at 4059 Creek Road prior to March 21.

LPD Chief Chris Salada said those who intend to visit should come prepared with a detailed description of the bicycle in question, a photo or paperwork proving ownership. Call 754-8477 to schedule an appointment.

LPD will host a child car seat event Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. firehall, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road

Those who feel they may not installed their child's car seat properly can stop by and have a certified technician review the proper installation. The technician will also inspect and verify the car seat has not been subject to recall.

The service is provided at no cost to residents. For more information, call the LPD at 716-754-8477.
