The following activity occurred Monday, Feb. 24, to Saturday, March 1, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 100 response calls during this period.

Monday, Feb. 24

•100 block of South Third Street, unattended death. Female, 95, listed. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. and Niagara County coroner responded. Report filed.

•5100 block of Walmore Road, check welfare. Male listed as complainant and female, 24, as person involved. Female also listed as driver and arrested for driving while intoxicated. Blood Alcohol Content testing performed; BAC result, .19 of 1 percent. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•LPD office, follow-up arrest. Female, 24, arrested on follow-up to earlier incident. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court. Bail of $750 assigned and posted. Report filed.

•5200 block of Fort Gray Drive, assist citizen. Female, elderly, advised that contract complainant was a civil issue.

•Townline and Lower Mountain roads, radar enforcement. Patrol reported issuing four uniform traffic tickets, unspecified.

•Addresses on the 900 block of Ridge Road and on the 2000 block of Mount Hope Road, assist and check welfare calls. First call involved assisting Crisis Services for a male, unidentified who was not at home. Check welfare call involved an attempt to locate of the male subject from the Ridge Road address.

•5800 block of Walmore Road, recovered property. Male complainant, 54, reported finding a weed whacker in his backyard. Item logged into property by patrol.

•5100 block of Lewiston Road, domestic. Female, 26, listed as complainant and male, 39, as person involved. Domestic incident report and patrol's report both filed.

Tuesday, Feb. 25

•Robert Moses Parkway northbound at Ridge Road, vehicle/traffic stop. LPD K-9 search of vehicle. No details on results.

•700 block of Ridge Road, suspicious activity. Complainant, unidentified, requested extra patrols in area at night.

•Saunders Settlement and Walmore roads, vehicle/traffic check. Female, 19, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation, third. Suspect released on appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Townline Road, south of Lower Mountain Road, radar enforcement. All OK.

•Printup Road, stolen vehicle recovery. Patrol reported said vehicle as stolen out of Buffalo. Buffalo Police Department notified. Report filed.

•Mount Hope Road, property-damage accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Male, 30, listed as driver No. 2 arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation, third, and numerous other vehicle/traffic violations, including for an unregistered vehicle. Male also found to be at fault of accident as he failed to stop at a stop sign. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•400 block of Kenwood Drive, citizen assist. Patrol reported parties were separated. Call deemed a civil issue and handled by patrol.

•1800 block of Mount Hope Road, aggravated harassment. Patrol reported two calls received from two different people. Both handled by patrol.

Wednesday, Feb. 26

•2600 block of Upper Mountain Road, stolen vehicle. Male, 60, listed as complainant/victim and male, 28, as suspect. No further details.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, standby. Male, 57, and male, 37, listed as persons involved. No further details; report filed.

•1900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, accident/injury. Statements taken from drivers of three vehicles involved. Male, 54, listed as driver of vehicle No. 3 found to be at fault and issued uniform traffic tickets, unspecified, for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•1100 block of Jarrett Drive, mental health response. Female, 35, and female, 26, both listed as complainants. Female, 57, listed as person involved. Report filed.

•Ridge and Ransomville roads, recovered property. Patrol reported an electric wheelchair, found roadside, had apparently fallen off a vehicle. Report filed.

•400 block of Tryon Drive, property-damage accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.

•400 block of Oriole Lane, check situation/possible harassment. Situation resolved by patrol.

•600 block of Center Street, officer requested. Patrol reported a possible larceny at a church/school. Patrol to follow-up.

•600 block of Scovell Drive, alarm response. State Police handled; residence secure.

Thursday, Feb. 27

•2800 block of Ridge Road, EMS response. Female seizing roadside; Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location.

•5300 block of Chew Road, alarm response. Call handled by State Police.

•Pletcher Road, traffic enforcement. LPD on speed enforcement; four uniform traffic tickets issued to drivers.

•1100 block of Cleveland Avenue, Niagara Falls, K-9 search assist. LPD assisted federal parole agents and Niagara Falls Police Department.

•700 block of Michelle Court, alarm response. Residence secure; homeowner returned to premises. Report filed.

•LPD office, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a male, 52, who reported receiving some harassing letters. Female, 67, listed on call. Investigation to continue.

•1200 block of Swann Road, stolen property follow-up complaint. Subject not at home.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, animal problem. Handled by patrol.

•1000 block of Upper Mountain Road, suspicious person. Patrol reported Verizon crews working on phone lines; call cleared.

•Upper Mountain and Garlow roads, accident. Statement taken from driver; vehicle secured, report filed.

•400 block of River View Drive, Youngstown Estates, alarm response. Garage door problem; all secure. Patrol cleared.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, alarm response at a bank branch. LPD assisted by NCSO; all secure.

•800 block of Hackney Lane, assist citizen. Patrol reported a male, 89, had his seatbelt locked. Patrol removed same and reported all were happy.

•5100 block of Bridgeman Road, property-damage accident. Male listed as person involved. Vehicle towed.

Friday, Feb. 28

•Robert Moses Parkway, property-damage accident. Statement taken from driver; no injury or tow. Report filed.

•Niagara University, general, non-criminal. Female, 28, listed as victim and male, no age, as a suspect. Patrol cleared.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Wheatfield High School, juvenile problem. Patrol reports recovering an airsoft gun from the school.

•4000 block of Creek Road, citizen assist. Patrol referred to NCSO with investigation and interview.

•5300 block of Military Road, suspicious vehicle. Driver reported resting prior to continuing on trip.

Saturday, March 1

•200 block of Center Street, suspicious vehicle. Chevy Impala, black, seen in driveway. GOA.

•2200 block of Upper Mountain Road, domestic. No further details.

•4900 block of Indian Hill Road, hit-run. State Police handled.

•700 block of Fairchild Place, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a female, elderly; suspect unknown. Handled by patrol; report filed.

•LPD office, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a male, 25; suspect unknown. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement Road, reckless driver. Patrol located a male, 20, at a gas/convenience business on the 2200 block who then fled on foot. Suspect arrested following a brief foot chase and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, second, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Suspect also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Cheektowaga. Suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail. Report filed.

•4800 block of Eddy Drive West, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a female, 66. Call handled by patrol; report filed.

•600 block of Upper Mountain Road, check welfare. Patrol spoke with a neighbor; all OK.

•Lake Road-Old Lake Road, assist. LPD assisted NCSO on a call of a missing elderly male.

•Military Road, vehicle-traffic stop-arrest. Male, 39, arrested for driving while intoxicated. BAC testing performed; result, .16 of 1 percent. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court and vehicle towed. Report filed.

•200 block of Oneida Street, trespass. Statement taken from a male, 56; female, 49, listed as person involved and male, 61, listed as suspect. Patrol advised suspect to refrain from property.
