The Niagara County Builders Association reports planning is underway for the 2014 Parade of Homes show, to take place on three weekends in May and June in Niagara and Erie counties. The show will open the weekend of May 24-25, and continue May 31-June 1 and June 7-8.

Now in its 16th year, the event showcases Western New York's most affordable residences. NCBA Executive Officer Jerry O'Neill said the association expects to have eight to 12 new homes completed and open to the public for viewing at select locations across Niagara County and on Grand Island.

"Our show homes will feature the latest in design, energy efficiency, construction technology and decorating," said NCBA President Kristin L. Savard.

As this year's show nears, NCBA will provide maps to the model homes, which will be open free of charge to the public.

Builders who are interested in participating this year's show can call the NCBA office at 716-693-6369.
