Grand Island: Inauguration Day Jan. 1

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, Grand Island's inaugural ceremony for all newly elected town officials will take place. Officials to be inaugurated are: town councilmen Christopher K. Aronica and Raymond A. Billica, Town Justice Mark K. Frentzel and Highway Superintendent James B Tomkins.

New York State Supreme Court Justice Hon. Russell P. Buscaglia will preside along with Master of Ceremonies Councilman Richard W. Crawford Jr. The ceremony will take place at: Ellden's Grill at River Oaks Golf Club, 201 Whitehaven Road at noon. The public is welcome to attend and is invited to stay after the ceremony for light refreshments.
