It was a full house in the conference rooms at Mount St. Mary's Hospital as family, friends and colleagues joined to salute Dr. Maryann Bishara and recognize her more than 50 years of service to the community at the hospital and health center. Bishara served as chief of anesthesiology from 1972-2013, and was recently named chief emeritus of the department.
A plaque commemorating the occasion was presented and is hung in the surgery department.
Bishara is shown with her husband, Daniel, at the reception.
