Temporary traffic control devices in place Thursday and Friday

The New York Power Authority is conducting the fall seasonal cleaning of roadway drainage inlets over the Niagara Hydroelectric Power Plant's Robert Moses Niagara power dam. The work involves the placement of temporary traffic maintenance devices on Route 104 between Niagara University and the north end of the Niagara plant. The work is being conducted as part of a NYPA agreement with New York State Department of Transportation.

Work is scheduled to resume Monday, Nov. 25, along the northbound and southbound lanes of the Robert Moses Parkway, situated over the Robert Moses Niagara power dam. A temporary traffic signal light will be utilized on the northbound and southbound lanes of the parkway, to allow for an alternating traffic lane to pass through the work zone. Flagmen will also be stationed on the parkway for additional direction and safety.

The temporary traffic devices will be operational during dates listed above between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
