The area's largest pediatric medical practice has recently created a new corporate identity that will place its four local offices under the umbrella of the new Integrity Health Group.

The offices of Island Pediatrics, Tonawanda Pediatrics, Transit Meadow Pediatrics and Main Pediatrics have been part of the same pediatric medical group; this new corporate name is intended to further identify the four offices as part of a larger, cohesive and integrated pediatric medical practice.

Island Pediatrics is located at 2271 Grand Island Blvd. on Grand Island.

Tonawanda Pediatrics was founded in 1984. Since then, the practice has grown to become the largest pediatric group in Western New York with 16 pediatricians, nine pediatric nurse practitioners and four offices in North Tonawanda, Amherst, Grand Island and Buffalo. The four offices will continue to use their individual practice names and operate under the Integrity Health Group umbrella.

In addition to the name change for the parent organization, the pediatric practice has also updated its brand identity and a symbol of the practice that serves as its brand ambassador. A new, illustrated bear with a more modern and healthier look will be incorporated into the brand identity, capturing the brand's essence as friendly and approachable. Each bear will have a specific color that represents a specific practice location.

According to Dr. Michael Heimerl, senior partner of the Integrity Health Group, "We felt it was time to update our overall image and better define the parent organization while keeping the distinct community names for each of the practice locations. Each office will continue to provide quality care close to home. The support of the entire group will allow us to provide extensive office hours and expanded services."
