Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals plan 2013 holiday fundraiser

The Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals annual holiday fundraiser will be held at the Saturn Club, 977 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The holiday happening is held every year to raise money for a worthy cause. For 2013, BNTF has teamed with the Delaware Avenue Baptist Church and selected two families from the local community who are in need of help this holiday season. One hundred percent of the profits from the event will go toward helping these two families have an unforgettable Christmas.

Organizers will host a Chinese auction with items donated from local hospitality industry vendors, among others. The families will also be given gifts donated by BNTF members.

Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals group has been in existence since 1971. It is an organization that recognizes professionals in the travel industry. The goal is to foster camaraderie and mutual trust among members and guests and promote and develop travel knowledge through travel industry speakers and motivational dinner meetings. The organization is comprised of travel agency owners, managers and employees, corporate travel managers/coordinators and staff, as well as respective suppliers in the industry.
