The Van Horn Mansion in nearby Burt is holding its popular Candlelight Tours fundraiser again this year. People learn about the history of the mansion and hear ghost stories as they tour the entire building - from the basement to the attic.
Folks are encouraged to take photos during the night to try and capture images that might be one of the spirits thought to inhabit the building.
After touring the building and learning about Malinda Van Horn, people can go to the rose garden and see her grave.
The tours continue Oct. 19, 25 and 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. each night, at a cost of $5 per person. (photos by Wayne Peters)
