Bank branch will be decorated in pink to enhance breast cancer awareness

First Niagara is turning its Clarence branch at Main Street and Transit Road "pink" in support of breast cancer awareness. Employees of the branch work closely with the Western New York Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and are proud to participate in the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign.

Today, the branch at Main and Transit features pink balloons, streamers and signage. Customers will be able to purchase pink light bulbs for $2, with all proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"First Niagara is committed to collaborating with community partners like the Komen Foundation to make a difference in Western New York," said Kevin Brzezinski, First Niagara branch manager. "We are proud to support efforts to increase breast cancer awareness and spread the message of early detection, diagnosis and treatment."
