Lewiston's audio walking tour, featuring some of the most historical stories of the village, can now be found at the Barton Hill Hotel.

The tour wands had previously been at the Lewiston Museum and Welcome Center.

The hand-held wands are to be used with the walking tour map of Lewiston, which will provide visitors and residents more in-depth information about the rich history in Lewiston. History buffs will learn about Lewiston's role in the Underground Railroad, about famous (and infamous) personalities in Lewiston's past, and why Lewiston is where it is.

There are a total of 10 wands available.

Anyone interested in taking the enhanced walking tour of Lewiston can borrow the wands from the Barton Hill Hotel at 100 Center St.

Use of the wands is free; however, borrowers must leave a driver's license until the wand is returned. Donations are always gratefully accepted.
