Tuesday was Apple Day at Kaegebein Elementary School.
According to Kristen Thore, Kaegebein Elementary School PTA Apple Day chairperson, PTA money garnered from various fundraisers throughout the year, and a generous donation from Grand Island Tops Market, provided more than 450 apples for the students and teachers at the school for the popular annual event, held Sept. 24.
