State Sen. Mark J. Grisanti, R-I-Buffalo, announced today a $9.48 million investment for road and bridge projects for Elmwood Avenue and the 198 in the City of Buffalo. The investment will be funded through the New York Works State Highway and Bridge Project Acceleration Program. This project is a part of the $45.96 million that has been secured for Region 5.
"Road and bridge projects are necessary for safety and will improve the quality of life for residents and motorists. This project will create jobs, grow our economy, and improve our transportation infrastructure. This is only the beginning of ... major investments to be announced for the City of Buffalo and throughout Western New York," Grisanti said.
