YMCA Buffalo Niagara is pleased to be the recipient of a $25,000 gift from Delta Air Lines. These funds were used to completely resurface a deteriorating playground area at the Ken-Ton Family YMCA (535 Belmont Ave., Kenmore).

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and check presentation will take place with Delta officials on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the Ken-Ton Y.

"We are truly grateful for Delta Air Lines generosity as it provides a safer, healthier, and more welcoming play environment for our YMCA families to enjoy" said YMCA President/CEO Buddy Campbell.

"As New York's largest airline, Delta is deeply committed to investing in the communities that we serve," said Gail Grimmett, Delta's senior vice president - New York. "We're thrilled that, through the YMCA Buffalo Niagara, we were able to make such a meaningful donation that will benefit so many children."
