Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard has announced that the Narcotics Unit, after a several months-long investigation, arrested three individuals at a Carl Road duplex (left side) on Grand Island mid-morning Friday, March 8, after executing a search warrant signed by Grand Island Town Justice Mark Frentzel.

The three suspects taken into custody include Dezeree Salley, 28, of Niagara Falls; Michael Giordano of the Carl Road address; and Jason Klinger, 37, of Lewiston.

Klinger is a registered sex offender and had a commitment from a Niagara County judge of a sentence of up to two-and-a-half years on unrelated sex offenses and drug charges, which Klinger was to begin serving in May 2013.

All of the defendants were charged with criminal possession of controlled substances with the intent to sell (class B felonies) and several other related drug charges.

In addition to the array of illegal substances found at the residence, a marijuana growing operation was observed in the attic.

The investigation continues and a fourth person may be charged after consulting with the Erie County District Attorneys' office. All three defendants were taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment in the Town of Grand Island Court.
