Lewiston Lion Ron Craft recently met with Lion Mark Mansell, a member of La Center, Wash., Lions Club in La Center. Mansell is currently on a solo, 3,500-mile mile bicycle tour from Portland, Ore., to Portland, Maine, to increase awareness and raise funds for leader dogs for the blind.
The Lions Club (national) contributes more than $2 million each year in leader dog funding. Since 1939, Lions have provided more than 14,000 guide dogs.
