Gaenhyenhawi "Hawi" Solotes of Lewiston has been awarded the ElderWood Senior Care Mary S. and Robert R. Chur Scholarship. ElderWood staff members and their families who are entering or continuing their education at the college level are eligible for the annual scholarship award. Currently a certified nursing assistant, she is pursuing a combined LPN and RN degree at Niagara County Community College. Solotes is a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School.
