The Youngstown Business and Profession Association is boasting that it will transform the village's Main Street into the "best beachfront area in Niagara County" on Thursday, June 21, with the third annual Beginning of Summer Street Dance.
The dance will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., rain or shine.
Participants are invited to bring family, friends and a lawn chair. Enjoy music by the Carl Motyka Band, street dancing, food, drinks and merchandise from local vendors; take a chance on 50/50 tickets. Let the kids try the bounce house or pony rides. Munch on free popcorn provided by the Youngstown Lions Club and Heritage Auto. Also, for that authentic beachfront atmosphere, free beach balls will be tossed in by Anchor Spirits.
The summery event is hosted by the YBPA in conjunction with the Youngstown Village Board, and the Youngstown police, recreation and volunteer fire departments.
