Residents from the community are welcome to join the staff and volunteers at the McGuire Group's Northgate Health Care Facility as they show off the amazing talents, outfits and fun-loving nature of their canine companions on Friday, June 22.
The Wheatfield facility's third annual dog show will run from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Prizes will be given in the following categories: Best in Show, Best Costume, Best Trick and Canine-Owner Look Alike.
Those wishing to participate can call Judy Ogden at 694-7700 by June 20. All dogs participating must be on a leash and have a copy of their rabies certificate.
"So many of our residents enjoy dogs," said Judy Ogden, activity director at Northgate. "It's always wonderful to see them interact; the smiles and laughter are unforgettable."
Northgate is located at 7264 Nash Road, Wheatfield.
