A meeting was held Monday morning by Niagara USA hospitality constituents to discuss the most recent information regarding Nik Wallenda's tightrope walk across Niagara Falls.

  • Those with vouchers to see Wallenda traverse the falls must have photo ID to retrieve a wristband. Voucher holders can redeem them at the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation's tent on Old Falls Street, at the Niagara Falls State Park kiosk, or at the Cave of the Winds. Visitors and residents are encouraged to come early and spend the day.

  • Terrapin Point will be closed off to the general public as of 5 p.m. on Friday, June 15. Only those with wristbands and credentialed media with passes will be allowed in.

  • Banners will be erected on streetlamp poles Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning on the middle block of Old Falls Street, Prospect Street, 3rd Street and Centennial Circle on Rainbow Boulevard South.

  • Niagara Falls Coach Lines will shuttle visitors from Buffalo Avenue to John B. Daly Boulevard on June 15. Five buses will be on hand from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., to drive 44 adults per bus. The cost will be $5 per person. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
