The following activity occurred Monday, May 7, to Sunday, May 13, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 78 responses during this period.

Monday, May 7

•Kenwood Drive and Lower River Road, open burn. Homeowner advised.

•Lower River Road, reckless driver. Driver gone on arrival.

Tuesday, May 8

•5300 block of Bridgeman Road, fraud complaint. Patrol reports being re-contacted by the caller that the initial said complaint was a misunderstanding.

•4900 block of Meyers Hill Road, larceny. Caller reported a driver attempted to remove a package from a mailbox. Plate number of vehicle logged. Patrol's investigation to continue.

•2100 block of Langdon Road, custody problem. Child turned over to its father. Patrol cleared.

•4500 block of Creek Road, attempt to locate. Patrol reports assisting Town of Niagara Police on an attempt to locate suspected vehicle that fled the area of the 2500 block of Military Road. Vehicle located on the 4500 block of Creek Road. A female, 50, was taken to Town of Niagara Police.

•Walmore Road, unwanted party. Patrol reports a male, 23, fled in a red Pontiac. Plate number logged and patrol located at N. Ninth and Oneida streets. Subject turned over to State Police.

•2600 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol checked area; vehicle gone on arrival.

Wednesday, May 9

•2300 block of Upper Mountain Road, juvenile problem. Patrol spoke with a male, 51, concerning a female juvenile, 16. Report filed.

•2400 block of Upper Mountain Road, check welfare. Patrol spoke with a male, 25. All OK.

•1900 block of Mount Hope Road, miscellaneous complaint, lost ring. Statement taken from a female, 54. Report requested.

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 58, concerning the theft of a Samsung tablet Suspect unknown at this time, investigation pending.

•400 block of Plain Street, unwanted party. Statement taken from a male, 56, and a male, elderly, concerning a female, elderly. Suspect left without incident.

•5200 block of Lewiston Road, attempted burglary. Statement taken from a male, elderly, who reported he came home from vacation to find a back door tampered with. No entry made. Report filed.

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 59, regarding a suspect, unknown.

•400 block of Meadowbrook Drive, warrant. Patrol reported a female, 32, detained on a warrant from Niagara Falls probation officers and Town of Porter.

•900 block of Center Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers; no injuries or tows. Report filed.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, larceny. Statement taken from a male, 58, concerning a male, 21. Suspect listed as a past employee allegedly stole petty cash from a cash register. Investigation to continue; report filed.

•700 block of Center Street, suspicious person. Caller reported a male asking customers for money outside a business. Patrol advised the subject to cease.

•5300 block of Bridgeman Road, burglary. Statement taken from a male, 41, regarding a generator missing from a garage. Investigation to continue.

•900 block of Ridge Road, unwanted party. Male on location left without incident.

Thursday, May 10

•4500 block of Meyers Hill Road, check area. Complainant reported hearing loud explosions in the area. Patrol checked with negative results.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol checked for a suspicious black pickup truck with negative results.

•2100 block of Upper Mountain Road, assist. LPD on location to assist New York State Parole office on serving a felony warrant on a male, 24. Negative results on serve.

•LPD office, call-in complaint. Caller reported a reckless driver on the 100 block of N. Sixth Street. Patrol located a female, 32, and charged same with reckless endangerment, second. Subject released on an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•1500 block of Upper Mountain Road, injury accident. Statements take from both drivers. Parties taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center. Report filed.

•100 block of Water Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers. No injuries or tows. Report filed.

•500 block of Center Street, animal problem. Groundhog reported in an engine compartment of a vehicle at an auto repair business. Animal removed without problem.

•LPD office, follow-up arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 21, stemming from a larceny complaint at a Saunders Settlement Road business. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court.

•3600 block of Creek Road, assist (two calls). LPD on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office to assist with a burglary in progress and follow-up report.

Friday, May 11

•Lower Center Street, vagrant. Patrol reported the male in question left the area. All OK.

•Watt Drive, suspicious vehicle/arrest. Patrol located vehicle and reported the arrest of a male, 30, for aggravated unlicensed operation, third. Driver arraigned at Porter Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

•1300 block of Ridge Road, aggravated harassment. Patrol spoke with the suspect who agreed to stop calling.

•800 block of Center Street, possible domestic. Patrol spoke with a female and male, both 20. No further details.

•800 block of Oneida Street, open burn. Patrol advised subjects to extinguish the fire and advised them of the village code.

•4200 block of Burch Road, domestic. LPD on location to assist NCSO with a father-son dispute.

Saturday, May 12

•1000 block of Elliott Drive, juvenile problem. Patrol responded to a report of homes being egged in the neighborhood. Two juveniles located and returned home to their parents.

•4600 block of Apple Drive, check 911. Patrol spoke with a female 40, regarding a male suspect, 39. No report.

•1600 block of Upper Mountain Road, harassment. Patrol listed three females, ages, 23, 41 and 38 as persons involved. No charges at this time. Report filed.

•North Fifth and Mohawk streets, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers. Report filed.

Sunday, May 13

•100 block of Tuscarora Street, unwanted party. Patrol spoke with a female, 23, regarding a male, 30. Male left without incident.

•1500 block of Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a driver, 29, on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation, third degree, and driving with a suspended license. Bail/bond of $250/$500 assigned. Vehicle with Massachusetts registration placed on hold. Report filed.

•5800 block of Ward Road, Sanborn, follow-up. Patrol reports neighbors were unhappy with the noise at the bar.
