Youngstown Free Library May activities

Youngstown Free Library announces the following activities will be taking place at the library in May:

•On Thursday, May 10, the library will hold a BTOP Express "Facebook Intermediate" class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 745-3555 or stop in to register.

•The Youngstown Free Library book discussion group will meet on Wednesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. The book for May is "The Paris Wife" by Paula Mclain.

•The Town of Porter Pre-School Story hour will meet on Tuesdays, May 8 and 15, at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

•Toddler and Parent Story Time will met on Fridays, May 18 and 25, at 9:30 a.m. Offered for children ages 15 months to 35 months, the program is planned with stories rhymes, music and flannel boards. Children should attend with a participating adult.

•The Friends of the Youngstown Free Library will hold a spring book sale on Friday (9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) and Saturday (until 3:30 p.m.), May 18 and 19. Friends' night will be Thursday, May 17, from 5 to 8 p.m.

•The Lewiston-Porter Builders Club Story hour will be held on Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. The middle school students will offer a fun hour of stories, and crafts under the direction of Mrs. Oddy. Featured theme is "Birds, Bugs and Butterflies."

•The Book & Lunch Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, May 31, at 11:30 a.m. The group meets on the last Thursday of each month. Bring your own lunch; coffee and tea is provided.
