St. Peter's R.C. School in Lewiston celebrated Earth Day on Friday, April 20. The entire school donned gloves and, armed with garbage bags, cleaned up around Lewiston.
In addition, the students began a recycling contest in September to see which class could bring in the most newspapers and magazines to be recycled. Miss Alicia Bohn's third-grade class won the contest.
