Step back in time to a period of refinement, elegance and, of course, good social etiquette. The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum's 10th annual Victorian Tea is a wonderful way to enjoy food and friendship while learning more about this fascinating part of America's past.

This year's program focuses on Victorian dance, with a special presentation and dance demonstration by the Victorian Dance Society of the Amherst Museum. Enjoy a traditional, three-course tea, including scones with cream, finger sandwiches, fresh fruits, and assorted desserts. Guests are invited to wear Victorian dress, hats, and bring their favorite teacup to truly take part in this fun and unique event.

This year's tea will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Tickets are $25 per person ($10 of which is tax deductible); no coupons or passes are accepted for this event. All proceeds benefit the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum.

Seating is limited, and reservations and prepayment are required. Call 716-693-1885 or email [email protected] today to reserve your place at this popular annual event. Come meet new friends, or you can reserve your own table for four.

The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is housed in the historic Allan Herschell Company Factory building at 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda.
