Starpoint High School Class of 2015 is hosting "Bald for Bucks" to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Jack Langdon Fund.

On Monday, March 26, at least 30 teachers, administrators and staff from across the entire district will participate in this event. Students are permitted to participate with parental permission and at least $25 in pledges/donations.

Participants have the choice of "going bald" or getting a temporary color streak put in their hair to represent specific cancers (i.e. pink = breast cancer awareness).

The event will be held in the high school gymnasium from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Starpoint high school seniors participating in the cosmetology program at Orleans/Niagara BOCES will be the stylists on hand.

As of March, 20, there has been more than $2,600 raised in online donations.
