Corporate Bowl March 13, 20

The Grand Island Central School District, in cooperation with the Grand Island School and Business Alliance, will present the 14th annual Corporate Bowl on back-to-back Tuesdays, March 13 and 20.

Corporate Bowl is an academic challenge where Grand Island High School teams compete for scholarship awards through several rounds of question-and-answer competition in a quiz show format. This year, 27 teams of four students each will match minds in core areas including math, science, history, English language, the arts, foreign language and current events.

The event takes place in the Grand Island High School auditorium at 6 p.m. both nights, with first round matches March 13 followed by semifinals and finals on March 20.

The annual Corporate Bowl provides scholarship money to Grand Island High School students courtesy of businesses, school personnel and sponsors.
