VA Western New York Healthcare System will host an employment and education fair for Veterans from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, in Freedom Hall at the Buffalo site, 3495 Bailey Ave.
Workshops will be held to assist veterans with filing applications through www.USAJobs.com at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and "Dress for Success" at 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
Employers, including veteran-owned, federal agencies and privately owned businesses have been asked to participate.
Veterans will have the opportunity to meet with prospective employers, learn about education opportunities available through local colleges and participate in workshops to improve skills.
Information will be available to assist veteran-owned businesses in the process to bid for government work.
