'The Advantage Co's Guide to Living (really) Green' electronics recycling event With Sunnking

Old, used, broken, or unwanted electronics gathering dust in your basement or attic? Recycle them the responsible way with The Stereo Advantage and Sunnking Electronics Recycling.

"The Advantage Co.'s Guide to Living (really) Green" event will take place at The Walker Center, 5110 Main St., Williamsville, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 10.

Residents in the area are encouraged to bring electronics such as laptops, desktops, computer accessories, TVs, monitors, audio/video equipment, MP3 players, communications equipment, servers and IT equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, cellphones, PDAs, medical/lab equipment, and anything else with a circuit board or cord. Do not bring items containing Freon (air conditioners, de-humidifiers, refrigerators, etc.), gas-powered equipment, or household hazardous waste.

All hard drives and private information will be securely wiped and destroyed in accordance with all HIPAA, FACTA, GLB and Sarbanes Oxley regulations, as well as Sunnking's EPA R2 certification. "The Guide to Living (really) Green" event will feature all the green products and technologies offered in the Walker Center. The idea for the event grew from the desire to do something unique with Debbi Burnes, creator of the all-natural beauty line, Sumbody, who is coming in to town for her fifth event. It is a weekend-long event that will include consultations, seminars, demonstrations, cooking lessons, and a grand finale at Giancarlo's with an all-natural "Beauty Brunch." "The Guide to Living (really) Green" event participants include Sumbody, Amour Vert, Jane Iredale, Stella McCartney, Under Armour, Patagonia, John Hardy, Toms, Northtown, Power Yoga, Buffalo, Stretch Pilates, SkyZone, Buffalo Light, National Fuel, Solar Liberty and Modern Recycling.
