St. Peter's Holy Name Society was able to donate a total of $1,000 to the parish on Feb. 12, from its fundraising efforts selling snow cones, cold pop and bottled water during the Lewiston Art Festival this past summer. Of this, $750 is designated to assist a needy family with tuition help for St. Peter's School and $250 toward altar supplies.

St. Peter's Holy Name Society is one of the largest and most active Holy Name societies in the Western New York Catholic Diocese. In the photo are Mike Marra (vice president) and Bob Ciszewski (president) presenting the checks to the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto (St. Peter's pastor). Joining them are John Gadawski (treasurer), Linus Ormsby (secretary) and Dave Trendell (sergeant at arms).
