Erie County Sheriff's Office Report for Jan. 13, 2012

The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports its officers responded to 150 calls from Dec. 31, 2011, to Jan. 6, 2012. Below is a sampling of only those incidents the ECSO reported to the Island Dispatch.

Saturday, Dec. 31

•Love Road, unlawfully dealing with a child - Deputies arrested 44-year-old Susan Bass of Grand Island following an investigation after a complaint of marijuana usage by minors. Bass is charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree. Bass was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Grand Island Court.

•Broadway, suspicious person - A complainant stated that she observed a subject near her vehicle in the driveway. Patrol checked the area but was unable to locate the subject.

Monday, Jan. 2

•Long Road, youth activity - A complainant stated that an unknown person threw an egg at his window late at night. Patrol checked the area but was unable to locate any subjects.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

•Park Place, suspicious vehicle - A complainant stated that a suspicious vehicle was parked in front of her residence for about 15 minutes. Deputies located the vehicle and advised the driver.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

•Ransom Road, larceny - A complainant stated her son's iPod was stolen from his school locker. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Friday, Jan. 6

•Bedell Road, suspicious person - A complainant stated that three males were walking around an apartment complex parking lot and appeared to be looking into vehicles. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the subjects.
