Culinary arts students Tiffanie Tisack's and Taylor Brielley's gingerbread house creation took third place at the Gilda's Club Competition.
Gilda's Club is a non-profit organization created in memory of comedienne Gilda Radner after her battle with ovarian cancer.
The two students who attend the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center worked for a week together on their award-winning look.
"They did an amazing job," says their teacher Bob Ihle. "I am exceptionally proud of the fact that they donated their prize money to this amazing organization that helps people affected with cancer. It is such a great cause."
