Erie County Sheriff's Office Report for Dec. 9, 2011

The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports its officers responded to 171 calls from Nov. 26 to Dec. 2. Below is a sampling of only those incidents the ECSO reported to the Island Dispatch.

Saturday, Nov. 26

•Island Park Drive, suspicious Incident - A complainant stated he observed two male subjects going through his vehicle. The complainant chased the subjects, but lost sight of them. Deputies searched the surrounding area,s but were unable to locate the subjects.
•Grand Island Boulevard, criminal mischief - The manager at a supermarket state that someone painted graffiti in the the bathroom.

Sunday, Nov. 27

•Love Road, burglary - A complainant stated that someone entered his residence and stole various items. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
•Whitetail Run, larceny - A complainant stated that someone stole various items from an unlocked vehicle sometime during the night.

Monday, Nov. 28

•West River Road, suspicious vehicle - A complainant stated that a vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the road in front of her home with the four-way flashers on. The vehicle left prior to arrival of patrol.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

•Grand Island Boulevard, larceny - An employee of a wireless cellular telephone service stated that an unknown male subject stole two pre-paid cell phones from the store. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
