Students from the Grand Island Dance Center are getting into the holiday spirit of giving by holding a food drive to benefit the Neighbors Foundation of GI.

"Our students and their families were very generous this year" said Kayla Fyfe, co-manager of the dance school.

The giving spirit doesn't stop there. GI Dance will take part in the Fireman's Fund Telethon, set for Saturday, Dec. 3. The students hope to help raise money for Christmas presents for children whose families cannot afford them. The telethon will be televised on Time Warner Cable.

Students from the contemporary dance class are posing with some of the donations in front of a newly built wall in the GI Dance studio, located at 2407 GI Blvd. The wall is one of the additions that the studio is making to better serve the students and their families.
