AAA scholarship applications now available

AAA Members Insurance Agency announces that applications are now available for its fourth-annual AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence. Open to high school seniors, the deadline for consideration is Dec. 23, and applications are available for download by visiting www.AAA.com/Insurance. 

The AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence will be awarded to six graduating high school seniors that demonstrate excellence in academics and community involvement and plan to attend a college, university or accredited technical school in New York state.

Three $1,000 first place scholarships and three $500 second place scholarships will be awarded throughout AAA Western and Central New York's territory, including the areas of greater Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.

 "AAA is pleased to be giving back to the communities we serve through the AAA Insurance Scholarship program," said David Weber, vice president of Insurance for AAA Western and Central New York. "The AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence encourages students to make a difference in their communities through their chosen field of study and subsequent career paths."
