The Wilson Lions, with help from Lion John Leible's Heritage Tree Service and the Niagara County Sheriff's work program, planted eight new trees in Greenwood Cemetery in Wilson on Saturday, Oct. 22. The Lions donated the trees as part of Lions International President Wing-Kun Tam's initiative to plant more than 1,000,000 trees this year.
The trees, all hardwoods, will help replace the many lost in April's windstorm.
