Prepare and prevent

The Niagara County Diabetes Education Program will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls.

The program will feature Valerie Hasely, MBA, the Niagara County project coordinator for Border Community Service at Niagara University, who will speak on "Preparing makes sense: Personal preparedness for your family."

The meeting is open to the public. Participants will receive free mini first aid kits.

Sarah M. deRosa is the program founder. Maria Wolcott, RN, CIPT, is the patient education program director. Grace Lutheran Church is handicapped accessible and attendees are asked to park in the lot behind the church off of 88th Street.
