The third annual Western New York Parade and Cruise for motorcycles, trucks and cars will begin with registration at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA.

This event will honor fallen patriots and first responders. A ceremony and picnic will be held at 2 p.m. at Gratwick Riverside Park on River Road in North Tonawanda.

Advanced registration is $15 and includes a chicken and rib dinner. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Buffalo VA Medical Center.

The police-escorted parade and cruise route will go through the Town of Niagara, Lewiston, Youngstown, Wilson, Olcott, Newfane, Lockport, Sanborn, Wheatfield and North Tonawanda. This will be the longest parade and cruise of its kind in Niagara County, according to organizers.

At 2 p.m., Paula Venne of WLVL Radio will kick off the picnic by singing the national anthem and the band Terranova will play from 3 to 5 p.m. A car and motorcycle show with awards presentation will follow.

To register, go to www.wnyparade.com or call Carmen Toromino at 444-2810.

Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, the Town of Niagara, North Tonawanda and the City of Lockport support the event.
