Mount St. Mary's to host free stroke education program

"Living With Stroke" presented by Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Catholic Health

Leading practitioners and physicians from Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Catholic Health are hosting a free education program on the impacts of living with stroke on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Dale Association, 33 Ontario St., Lockport.

Presenters will examine the different ways stroke can affect people, and discuss emerging approaches in stroke care, stroke prevention and lifestyle management for survivors.

Dr. Gregory Sambuchi, neurologist and medical director of the neurology and stroke program at Mount St. Mary's, will be the featured speaker. This workshop is ideal for stroke patients, their families and caregivers, and the community.
