The following activity occurred Monday, Aug. 15, to Sunday, Aug. 21, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD reported a total of 139 responses during this period.

Monday, Aug. 15

•400 block of Plain Street, suspicious person. Caller reported a person hitting the house and making noise. Subject gone on patrol's arrival.

•3800 block of Lockport Road, alarm burglary. LPD assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Office on an attempt to locate a male who was suspected in a burglary at a fitness center.

•4300 block of Porter Center Road, burglary. Statement taken from a 65-year-old male and a 22-year-old female regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, possible harassment. Patrol spoke with a 39-year-old female; no report.

•2100 block of Langdon Road, stolen bike. A 69-year-old male reported a blue Raleigh TR 30 stolen; report filed.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, larceny. A 58-year-old female reported two bicycles taken overnight; report filed.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

•1700 block of Saunders Settlement Road, one-vehicle accident. Statement taken from a 24-year-old female. Subject charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation from the accident. Bail of $250 assigned and driver remanded to the Niagara County Jail. Vehicle secured; report filed.

•National Grid substation on Swann Road, picketing problem. Patrol responded on two occasions.

•600 block of 15th Street, Niagara Falls, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 41-year-old female from an earlier incident.

•Village locations, 17 open container violations/arrests. Locations included: Tuscarora Street; Portage Road (seven arrests); Onondaga Street; Cayuga Street; and South Fourth Street. Arrested were: a 45-year-old male; a 48-year-old male; a 42-year-old male; a 21-year-old male; a 20-year-old male; a 25-year-old female; a 23-year-old male; a 22-year-old male; a 24-year-old female; a 26-year-old male; and a 22-year-old male. Appearance tickets issued to all violators for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.

•700 block of Raymond Drive, sexual assault. Statement taken from a 22-year-old female complainant regarding a 23-year-old male and another male, both listed as suspects. Report filed.

•500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, fraud. Statement taken from a 42-year-old female. Report filed.

•3700 block of Ransomville Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO on an assault complaint.

•Guard Street, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 23-year-old male for unauthorized possession of marijuana. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court; report filed.

•8880 block of Seneca Street, unwanted persons. Caller reported approximately 10 individuals pulling out signs and being disruptive. Subjects fled towards Portage Road; no other descriptions given.

•Lower River Road area near Joseph Davis State Park, check welfare. Caller reported an intoxicated male in the roadway. Negative results on patrol's response.

•Ridge Street, suspicious person behind a business. Patrol checked with negative results.

•4600 block of Model City Road, accident report. Female complainant stated she was rear-ended on Cayuga Street by a silver minivan that did not stop. Report filed.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

•Robert Moses Parkway southbound, suspicious persons. Patrol spoke with the parties; all OK.

•Model City and Ridge Roads, three-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers. Vehicle No. 1 rear-ended, causing vehicle No. 2 to rear-end vehicle No. 3. Vehicle No. 2 towed. Report filed.

•Cayuga and South Eighth streets, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported a 60-year-old male was held for another licensed driver; vehicle secured. Patrol cleared.

•LPD office, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 38-year-old male regarding a male suspect. Suspect advised to refrain from contact and advised that any further contact would result in a harassment charge. Patrol cleared.

•North First Street, assist, late entry. LPD on location with NCSO for a public lewdness incident; male urinating in public.

•400 block of Kenwood Drive, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 30-year-old female who reported an unknown suspect slashed both left side tires and broke the rear passenger window on a vehicle. NCSO investigator on the scene. Investigation to continue. Report filed.

•Lewiston Road, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers. A passenger in vehicle No. 2 was taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Vehicle secured; MV forms issued. Report filed.

•400 block of Center Street, suspicious person, late entry. Male reported looking into vehicles.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, suspicious person. Patrol reported the individual in question was a Kirby salesman who had a permit.

Thursday, Aug. 18

•400 block of McKinley Avenue, domestic. Patrol listed a 61-year-old female as a victim and a 32-year-old male as a suspect. Male left for the night.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, EMS/domestic. Patrol reported as a male as intoxicated and highly uncooperative. Subject refused treatment.

•LPD office, custody problem. Patrol spoke with a 52-year-old male regarding a female and an incident that occurred on the 100 block of Elliott Drive. Report filed.

•LPD office, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a female regarding a 16-year-old male juvenile and an incident that occurred on the 800 block of Oriole Lane. Investigation to continue.

•North Fifth and Mohawk streets, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, larceny. Patrol listed a 41-year-old male as a victim and a female as a suspect. Money was returned to the victim, who did not wish to press charges. Report filed.

•Kiwanis Park, attempt to locate. Patrol reported detaining a 16-year-old male juvenile due to charges pending. Suspect arraigned in Porter Town Court, $1,000/$2,000 bail assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO. Report filed.

•5400 block of Military Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female; report only.

•Unspecified location, follow-up arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 49-year-old male for second-degree harassment, stemming from an incident last month on Upper Mountain Road. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court.

Friday, Aug. 19

•800 block of Pletcher Road, unwanted person. Patrol reported a 17-year-old male was turned over to his parents.

•LPD office, found property. Patrol reported an iPod was found Aug. 17 on North Fifth Street.

•1800 block of Upper Mountain Road, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Report filed.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, shoplifter complaint. No charges requested per store security.

•200 block of North Water Street, suspicious activity. Juveniles reported throwing eggs at a house had fled the area. Patrol checked with negative results.

Saturday, Aug. 20

•Garlow and Mount Hope Roads, roadside domestic. Patrol listed a male and female, both 24 years old as persons involved. Verbal argument reported; all OK.

•Saunders Settlement Road and West Street, two-vehicle accident/arrest. Statements taken from both drivers. Patrol reported the arrest of driver No. 1, a male, for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Pletcher Road, reckless driver. A blue Sportbike was reportedly traveling at 100 mph on Creek and Pletcher roads. Bike abandoned by the H2-Grow plant; plate number logged. LPD K-9 unit checked the area for the operator, with negative results.

•Route 429, attempt to locate. LPD assisted NCSO westbound on Upper Mountain Road from Route 429, and on a traffic stop at Route 429 and Tallman Road. Negative results on both attempts.

Sunday, Aug. 21

•3500 block of Creek Road, check welfare. Caller reported a juvenile lying in the grass next to a ditch. All OK.

•5800 block of Ward Road, animal problem. Caller reported two animals injured and tied up. SPCA contacted and secured animals. A 34-year-old female was listed as a suspect. Investigation to continue.

•900 block of Center Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 36-year-old female regarding a 48-year-old female suspect. Investigation to continue.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, possible harassment. Patrol spoke with a 38-year-old female; no report.

•600 block of Upper Mountain Road, larceny. Statement taken from a 64-year-old female, who reported a push lawnmower, was taken from the front yard.
