Assemblyman John Ceretto wrote to Gov. Andrew Cuomo inviting him to visit the 138th District to discuss ideas and strategy on how to strengthen the region's tourism industry in order to revitalize the local economy, attract businesses and create more jobs.
Ceretto welcomed the announcement of the regional economic development councils. He noted that these regional councils will open the flow of discussion on how New York state can be more business friendly, and listen to the needs of localities helping them boost the local economy and bring good-paying jobs back to the area.
The letter was hand delivered to a member of the governor's staff at an event detailing the regional councils.
