Last week, the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp. launched an official travel blog aimed at serving as an authoritative source in the promotion and marketing efforts of the Niagara USA destination.
The 'Experience Niagara USA Travel Blog' will use an experiential, multimedia approach to attract and educate visitors or potential travelers to the region on all of the unique cultural, historical, adventure and outdoors opportunities available in Niagara USA. Bloggers will use audio, video and photographs to truly showcase the experiences at different attractions or properties in Niagara USA.
"This approach will not only educate the visitor, but will inspire him or her to come explore Niagara USA and truly discover all of the wonders we have to offer," said NTCC President and CEO John Percy. "Niagara USA offers such a diverse mix of attraction offerings and this blog gives us yet another platform to showcase the destination and interact with potential visitors."
Serving as a clearinghouse for all travel-related information in Niagara USA, the blog will highlight the events and festivals found throughout the region, while exploring the rooted history, one-of-a-kind attractions and people who make Niagara USA a premier destination.
The blog will be moderated and edited by NTCC Communications Manager Nick Mattera, who, prior to being brought on at the NTCC, served as a reporter at a daily newspaper.
Contributions to the Niagara USA blog will not be made simply by employees of the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp., but by employees who are avid travelers, knowledgeable adventure seekers and passionate community stakeholders with a keen knowledge of the local tourism industry.
