Health System Services, a home medical and respiratory equipment provider based in Wheatfield, recently announced the promotion of Douglas Mooradian to director of marketing and public relations.

In his new role, Mooradian will be responsible for marketing the company's products and services to area physicians, hospitals and nursing home rehabilitation facilities. In addition, he will manage the retail division's advertising and oversee Health System Services' public relations efforts.

Health System Services President Robert Minicucci Sr. commented, "Since joining us in 2004, Doug has willingly taken on a number of different roles for us, all the while contributing to our steady growth. We are proud to have Doug as an integral part of our team and are even more pleased to promote him to the director level."

Mooradian was born and raised in Niagara Falls, and graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1999. In 2004, he returned to Western New York after living in North Carolina. He joined Health System Services shortly thereafter as an account executive and was named HSS Salesperson of the Year in 2007.

In 2009, Mooradian was honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Niagara Falls Boys' & Girls' Club and has served as co-chairman of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's Niagara Cup Classic golf tournament each of the past two years. He resides in Niagara Falls with his wife, Jennifer, and their 10-month-old son Armen.
