Late hours set to continue at Falls DMV tonight

Normal operations resume Tuesday

Niagara County Clerk Wayne F. Jagow announced that a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles fiber-optic line has been repaired and normal operations are resuming at the county's three DMV sites effective immediately.

The failure of the New York state system had left Jagow shifting resources to ensure DMV customers were able to receive service at the one fully-functioning DMV site in the county, which also extended its hours for the day.

The Niagara Falls DMV, located at 1001 11th St., will continue with planned late hours until 6:30 p.m. to ensure that county residents that were seeking to complete DMV transactions ahead of the long weekend are still able.  The Lockport and North Tonawanda DMV sites have resumed transaction business and will continue to do so until 4:30 p.m.

All three sites will resume their normal operations schedule on Tuesday.
