Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, which provides programs and services to people with developmental disabilities and their families, is seeking nominations for individuals to serve on its board of directors and standing committees.
Katharine Guthrie, chair of the agency's Nominating Committee, said volunteer positions are available on the board of directors, which meets monthly and provides oversight, guidance and financial direction to the agency. Board members will serve a three-year term beginning in June 2011. Committee positions are also available and focus on personnel, finance, guardianship and the various programs offered to people with disabilities.
