Scarecrow contest winners

Chamber of Commerce has announced the top three winners of its 2010 Scarecrow
Display Contest, which saw several unique creations found on the streets of
Lewiston, Youngstown, Ransomville and Sanborn over the past month. First place,
best of show, goes to Pipers' Village Inn, for its creation of "Piper in
Wonderland," found on the corner of South Fifth and Center streets in the
Village of Lewiston. Second place is "Elvis at the Barn Dance," created by the
Sanborn Historical Society and found at the corner of Saunders Settlement Road
and Buffalo Street in Sanborn. Third place goes to Youngstown Family Dentistry
for its "before" and "after" creation of Dr. James Trzaska found at 320
Lockport St., in Youngstown. The chamber extends a special "thank you" to all
who participated in this year's contest.
