The following activity
took place as reported by the Youngstown Police Department from Friday, Aug.
20, to Wednesday, Aug. 25.
Friday, Aug. 20
- 300 block of Elm
Street, unstable animal. Patrol observed a fox that showed signs of rabies. The
fox was shot on location.
Saturday, Aug. 21
- 1000 block of Swann
Road, hang-up call. Patrol assisted the Lewiston Police Department with a 911
hang up call from a church. All was checked and OK.
Sunday, Aug. 22
- 2500 block of
Youngstown Lockport, possible overdose. The Niagara County Sheriff's Department
was assisted on a call of a possible female overdose. A report was filed.
- 4300 block of Autumn
Lane, alarm. An alarm went off at a residential home. All was cleared.
- Balmer Road, traffic
tickets issued. The Niagara County Sheriff's Department issued uniform traffic
tickets to two vehicles.
Monday, Aug. 23
- Northbound Robert
Moses Highway, deer found. Patrol checked for a deer roadside. They continued
to check for a few days.
- Youngstown Lockport
Road, traffic tickets issued. Two traffic tickets were issued for speeding. A
25-year-old female was going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone. A 17-year-old male was
going 46 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Wednesday, Aug. 25
- 400 block of
Youngtown Lockport, disturbed juvenile. A mother reported her 14-year-old
daughter was experimenting with narcotics. Patrol suggested available drug
programs.
- Balmer Road, damaged
property. A complainant stated four ATVs had been running through the pond and
one had kicked rocks onto the complainant's vehicle. A report was filed.
- 3100 block of Lake Road,
disorderly female. Patrol assisted the Niagara County Sheriff's Department with
a female who was out of control. The female was said to be bipolar. She was
taken to the hospital for mental evaluation.
