Obit -- Mark G. Waldow

Mark G. Waldow's fight against pancreatic cancer ended Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, after a two-year battle. The Ogden resident worked at IBM for 28 years.

Waldow will be very much missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mark is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jeannine (Serwon); daughters Nicole, Melanie and Jennifer; mother, Patricia W. Dowd; bother, Stephan (Kathy) Waldow; sister, Karen (Bret) Marlin; grandmother, Helen Mengual; father-in-law, Edward Serwon; brothers and sisters-in-law; two stepsisters, nephews and great-nephews. The Rev. Brian Dowd and his mother-in-law, Geraldine Serwon predeceased him.

The wake for him was held Sunday, Sept. 12, at Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home in Rochester. The funeral Mass service was Monday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius the Tenth Church in Rochester. Waldow was buried at St. Pius Cemetery.
