occurred Monday, June 21, to Sunday, June 27, as reported by the Lewiston
Police Department. A total of 112 calls were answered by LPD during this
period.
Monday, June 21
- Harassment complaint on
the 600 block of Morgan Drive. Patrol spoke with a 40-year-old female regarding
a juvenile victim and an unknown suspect. Report filed.
- Harassment complaint on
the 800 block of Foxwood Drive. Patrol spoke with a 27-year-old female
regarding a 43-year-old male. Report filed.
- Criminal mischief
complaint at a car wash business on the 2800 block of Saunders Settlement Road.
Statement taken from a male; no further details.
- Criminal mischief
complaint at a Creek Road church. Statement taken from a 59-year-old female
regarding a 51-year-old female. Report filed.
- Custody dispute on the
2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue regarding an incident that occurred at
Colonial Village School. Statement taken from a 42-year-old male concerning a
67-year-old female. Report filed.
- Harassment complaint on
the 4600 block of Model City Road. Statement taken from a 47-year-old female
regarding juveniles. Report filed.
- Juvenile problem on the
900 block of Pletcher Road. Statement taken from a female who informed about a
potential fight at an unknown concert location in Lewiston involving juveniles
from Lewiston and Niagara Falls. Patrols advised.
Tuesday, June 22
- Burglary complaint on the
6900 block of Deborah Lane. Patrol assisted the Niagara County Sheriff's
Department on a foot pursuit. Two males in custody. NCSD to file the report.
- Arrest at LPD from an
earlier incident. Patrol reported the arrest of a juvenile male from a drug
possession complaint at Lewiston-Porter Middle School. Report filed.
- Criminal mischief
complaint on the 300 block of Seneca Street. Statement taken from a male
regarding copper tubing stolen from apartments. Report filed.
- Larceny complaint at a
pizzeria business on the 700 block of Cayuga Street. Statement taken from a
40-year-old male regarding a female suspect. Report to follow.
- Open container violations
- one on the 400 block of Seneca Street, appearance tickets for Lewiston Town
Court issued to a 24-year-old female and a 26-year-old male; another on the 100
block of South First Street, appearance tickets issued to a 26-year-old male
and a 22-year-old male. Reports filed.
- Harassment complaint at
South Fourth and Tuscarora streets. Complaint resolved.
- Report of workers at a
business on the 700 block of Center Street being harassed by a large group of
juveniles. Group dispersed and a 17-year-old juvenile male returned to his
parents.
- Assist call involving an
intoxicated/injured party at South Eighth and Center streets. A 43-year-old
male was transported by Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer EMS for treatment.
- Patrol assisted State
Police on a domestic on the 400 block of Water Street in Youngstown.
Wednesday, June 23
- Juvenile problem on the
5200 block of Hewitt Parkway. Patrol searched the area with negative results.
- Suspicious person on
Onondaga and North seventh streets. All secure.
- Lost/stolen wallet on the
400 block of South Fourth Street. Patrol spoke with a 43-year-old male
regarding a possible pickpocket by an unknown suspect. Patrol checked with
negative results.
- Suspicious vehicle on
Garlow Road and Colonial Drive. Vehicle located and sent on its way.
- Patrol reports serving
subpoenas: on the 1700 block of Upper Mountain Road, negative results, wrong
address; on the 5100 block of Walmore Road, served on a juvenile; and on the
1800 block of Mount Hope Road, served for Lewiston Town Court.
- Domestic on the 4300 block
of Lower River Road. Patrol spoke with a 21-year-old female and a 25-year-old
male. Verbal only; report filed.
- Custody problem on the
1100 block of Swann Road. Patrol spoke with a 37-year-old female; no further
details.
- Criminal mischief
complaint on the 1600 block of Saunders Settlement Road. A 63-year-old male
reported juveniles egged his house. No charges wished; patrol cleared without
incident.
Thursday, June 24
- Patrol assisted NCSD with
a possible overdose on the 3800 block of Lower River Road. Unidentified subject
taken by Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. EMS to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and
Health Center. Patrol cleared.
- Complaint of solicitors on
the 400 block of North Fourth Street. Patrol reports issuing appearance tickets
for Lewiston Town Court to a 27-year-old male and a 32-year-old male for
soliciting without a permit. Report filed.
- Criminal mischief
complaint on the 5300 block of Military Road. Statement taken from a
58-year-old male regarding damage to a vehicle that occurred in May. Report
filed.
- Larceny complaint on the
2100 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a 45-year-old male
regarding produce taken from a stand. Report filed.
- Aggravated harassment
complaint on the 2200 block of Ridge Road. Statement taken from a male
regarding a female suspect. Report filed.
- Possible sexual offense
reported on the 1800 block of Langdon Road. Statement taken from a juvenile
regarding an 18-year-old male. Investigation to continue; report filed.
Friday, June 25
- Patrol reports assisting
Town of Niagara Police with an underage party on the 3000 block of Rhode Island
Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard. Party dispersed.
- Patrol assisted NCSD on a
father-son domestic on the 400 block of Riverview Drive. Call resolved. NCSD
did the report.
- Patrol assisted NCSD on a
mental health response on the 3500 block of Ransomville Road. No further
details.
- Patrol on two standby
responses at the same address on the 1100 block of Swann Road. No further
details.
- Patrol assisted Town of
Niagara Police on a burglary-in-progress call on the 8400 block of Donna Drive.
Call changed to a criminal mischief complaint per TNPD.
- Welfare check on the 4700
block of Jason Court; no problems reported.
Saturday, June 26
- Suspicious person reported
at a church on the 1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road. All secure.
- Suspicious person on the
5200 block of Townline Road. All secure.
- Lost property/possible
pickpocket complaint at a bar/restaurant on the 800 block of Center Street. A
24-year-old male reported a wallet containing $1,800 in cash and credit cards
missing. Suspect unknown. Report filed.
- Arrest at LPD. Patrol
reported the arrest of an 18-year-old male from the possible sexual offense
call on the 1800 block of Langdon Road. Suspect arraigned at Town of Porter
Court; bail of $5,000/$10,000 assigned, and suspect remanded to the Niagara
County Jail.
- Recovered property at the
Amex Duty Free on the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. Patrol to contact the owner.
- Harassment complaint at
LPD. Statement taken from a 51-year-old male regarding an incident at a
bar-restaurant on the 100 block of South Water Street involving a male. Report
filed.
- Attempted burglary on the
5200 block of Chew Road. Statement taken from a 17-year-old male and a
63-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect. Report filed.
- Fireworks complaints on
Bronson Drive and on Raymond Drive at Sara Court. Areas checked with negative
results.
- Disturbing the peace
complaint on the 5900 block of Hoover Road. Party advised to keep the noise
down and complied.
Sunday, June 27
- Disturbing the peace
complaint on the 700 block of Scovell Drive. Call unfounded.
- Trespass complaint on the
5700 block of Hermitage Road. Patrol spoke with a 30-year-old male regarding an
unknown suspect. Patrol checked with negative results.
- Possible fight involving
unruly fans at Dwyer Ice Arena on the Niagara University campus. Group
dispersed by patrol.
- Patrol reports assisting
NCSD on a possible abduction in the Sanborn-NCCC area. Call disregarded.
- Loud music complaint on
the 1100 block of Swann Road. Party advised.
- Officer requested on the
800 block of Foxwood Drive. Statement taken from a 52-year-old male who
reported an unknown party was stealing his garbage. For patrol's information.
- Paintball complaint on the
1100 block of Swann Road. Statement taken from a 51-year-old male who also
reported a harassment complaint involving a neighbor. Report filed.
- Larceny complaint at a nursing home on the 700 block of Fairchild
Place. Statement taken from an elderly female involving an unknown suspect.
