Ever since I started picking up crayons at age 6, I knew I wanted to become a successful artist.

I'm back in town for the last summer here before I return to Florida at Ringling College of Art and Design for my senior year. I want to come home and have one last chance before I graduate to get myself out there in the art world.

Recently, I set up on Allen Street the weekend of art festival at Allentown. Seeing everyone smiling and commenting on the originality of my pieces made the event successful in my eyes. I hope to be in the Elmwood Art Festival as well. If I get in, come find me and look at what I call beautiful art that you can relate to in many ways. Last summer, I was in the Lewiston Art Festival and hope to return there as well.

But you don't have to wait that long to see my artwork. I'm holding a Grand Island art show on Friday, June 25, at Wallace Drive off of Huth Road from 6 to 9 p.m. Come take a look and enjoy the artwork, or even buy one of my pieces or prints.

I hope to see you there or at one of the summer art festivals.
